Christmas macaroni pie @

 

Remove the skin from the sausage, sauté in a pan without seasoning over medium heat; when it has taken color, blend with white wine. Continue cooking until finished.

Cut the mozzarella into cubes.

Cook the Christmas macaroni (also called  candles or Genoese macaroni) in plenty of salted water (al dente), drain it well and mix it with the sausage and its sauce, the mozzarella, the cream and the grated cheese; pour everything into a baking pan and pour over the remaining grated cheese, bake at 180 degrees until the cheese has thickened and the dough has browned.

You can also use fiordilatte mozzarella.
